[Mh...]
Hello everyone, I won’t go into details about my story but benzos was prescribed to me for insomnia due to some school stress. The PCP never disclosed the knowledge of withdrawal symptoms or the hell on earth I’m going through. I’ve lost everything; my career, my girlfriend, friends, family members and much more. How can we stay positive and believe that one day we will heal and don’t have set backs and live a normal life? I am only 29. I feel hopeless and I feel like I won’t make it. thanks everyone. Love and peace to you all. mhowash

[Br...]
@[Mh...] During withdrawal our brains sends out messages telling us everything is hopeless and it's easy to believe because our symptoms feel so awful. But don't believe it - it's just one of the lies our brains tell us while healing. Here's a really good link about this: Benzo Lies That Have Been Busted. Here's another link that does a good job of explaining what's going on in the brain during recovery from benzos: What is happening in your brain?
