anxiety Seizures protracted recovery

Hi dear buddies, hope your path to recovery will be smoother than mine ordeal.

I am interested to know if anybody after very long use  of benzo, had seizure in his looooong recovery.

Hello and welcome to the forum from me @[sp...],

Seizures are rare, usually occurring when someone stops cold turkey from a high benzodiazepine dose. While there are many inexplicable symptoms while in recovery, I had some myself, seizures are not a recovery symptom.

I’m no spring chicken myself, I started tapering in my 60’s. I knew I had a lot to look forward to on my future, so I’m grateful I persevered.
