Carcinoid vs MCAS

I’m so emotionally drained from all the drs appts. Yesterday I saw an allergist/immunologist, he listened to my symptoms and looked at me with in 3 minutes said he wants to test for carcinoid syndrome. Which matches all of the symptoms I’ve been having over the past almost 3 years, before I went on klonipin after i got off Xanax. I so badly just want to blame this all on benzo withdrawal but my flushing and tachycardia just seems to get worse and it seems to be nearly every good I eat I react to. Has anyone else had their doctor suspect this and it came out negative? I’ve also recently had a scare that my thyroid cancer was back. I’m only 35 and this is all too much and certainly not what I had planned with my life. Anyway I just needed to vent because I just feel so incredibly alone even though I have 2 friends and a husband, I can confide in them but they just don’t understand.
