Starting over

After 2 psych hospital admissions due to severe depression, I reluctantly agreed to updose Valium 6mg to 12.5mg. The increase achieved nothing. I’m still depressed and poor quality of life. The idea to start tapering again is daunting however I’m very aware of where I went wrong. I’m wondering if anyone has had a similar experience? As my mental health is in such a bad way I’m also wondering if I should wait? Any comments/advice welcome.

I’m sorry the increase didn’t help, do you feel holding would?  I hate to see you embark on another taper in light of your hospital admissions unless you’re seriously tolerant and holding is worse for you than tapering. 

 

What went wrong, you mentioned you can pinpoint something?
