I have been takeen Alprazolam (1.2mg/day) and Rilmazafone (1mg/day). The period I have been taking benzodiazepines mentioned above is almost 8 years. I did replcement to Diazepam (15mg/day). I have started from June of 2021. Now, I take Diazepam of 4mg/day. However, I feel withdrawal symptoms suach as headache, back stiffness, pain etc. Please tell me the relaxation methods how to do. It looks like you've done a great job and been coping well with your taper, It does become difficult at the lower doses, but you will come through it. You will get plenty of support and encouragement here to see you through the last stretch. Practicing relaxation techniques like mediation, yoga can help, you'll find plenty of relaxation tapes on the internet. The symptoms are temporary and will ease off and go away with time. Please post your questions to any of the dedicated boards our members are very caring and knowledgeable . The Ashton Manual, is a great resource for understanding the effect benzo’s have on our body.
