Success stories of reversing hearing loss with prednisone while in wd?

My ear felt muffled the day after I went to a loud karaoke bar. The muffling is subtle but annoys me.

 

There is this protocol of high doses of prednisone (60mg) and then tapering off the drug, but taking corticosteroids while tapering and already having benzo wd symptoms scares me. I wonder how I would react on such a regimen, and I wonder if I do need it.

 

What are your experiences with prednisone while tapering or during withdrawal?

I’ve seen a lot of posts about steroid use and most are not good.  If the muffling is subtle I’d sure wait before attempting this but you might want to check out the thread in support groups that deals with mediation caused setbacks. http://www.benzobuddies.org/forum/index.php?topic=215211.0
