[Ra...]
I've been on Ativan .75 nightly for about 10 weeks. My doctor wants me to switch from Ativan to Klonopin .5mg at night and .25mg during the day. I do feel like I do have interdose withdrawal. Should I consider the switch he suggested and then start tapering from there after I stabilize or should I consider splitting my Ativan dose to multiple times a day before I embark on a taper. It's seems switching to Valium is also difficult. Please advise. Thanks,
[Li...]
If I were in your shoes, I’d investigate the pros and cons of switching to and then tapering from clonazepam. For example, one of the major cons is that it is challenging to taper due to its high potency and lack of suitable dosage strengths and forms. In the US, the lowest strength solid dosage form available is a 0.125mg Orally Disintegrating Tablet; a FDA-approved liquid dosage form is not available. [Ra...]
I’m now on .5 mg of. Ativan 1/4 mg each in 2 divided doses What is the best way to reduce from here? The pill seems too small to cut. My Psychiatrist doesn’t use a compounding pharmacy. Do you recommend water titration? Dry tapering? What have people found to be the most successful method for Ativan?
