Has Anyone Had Issues with Famotidine?

I ended up in the ED last week with tachycardia and chest pain. All the tests came back normal. The ED doc believes I had an esophageal spasm which caused a panic attack which caused the tachycardia. To make a long story boring, he prescribed famotidine 20 mg twice a day for two weeks and then once a day after that. I have not felt "right" since then. (Not that I was necessarily feeling "right" to start with, but this was even LESS "right".)

 

Anyone else had issues with famotidine? It seems like anything that would interact with our digestive tract might, but I'm wondering about all the side effects that I JUST read about (anxiety, dizziness, headache, chest pain, breathing issues, irritability, racing heartbeat ... )?
