what to do about dental work

Has anyone here been to the dentist and not had a setback from the anaesthetic? Speicifcally it seems to be epinephrine that causes people problems. I've been doing well for a while so I'm scared of risking my wellbeing.

My dentist uses carbocaine plain (no epi) and it's never caused me any problems.

I’ve always asked for the shot without epinephrine.  Works great.

Used the regular shots every time with no issues at all

Had two back teeth extracted 3 weeks ago, destabilised my CNS further, but if I had to hazard a guess, I’d say it was the trauma rather than the epinephrine. I have to go back and have a couple of fillings soon, but I feel less concerned over that as opposed to extractions. I guess the next visit will expose whether it was the epinephrine or not.

I've had dental work done twice: I told the dentist no tranquilizing drugs because I was allergic to them.

 

The lidocaine for numbing didn't hurt me any.

 

Going around with a toothache is miserable; you have no choice in the matter really but to have it pulled.

 

I didn't take care of my teeth like I should have while taking psych drugs. I certainly do today.

You can call the chosen clinic beforehand and find it out. I did this way. Moreover, you can look for reviews online and read other patients' feedback.
