There could be scar tissue left over from the infection. The scar tissue would irritate a little bit, and my block a little, causing the dripping.

 

I actually have a similar thing with one of my salivary glands. My right parotid gland got really infected a few years ago. Antibiotics got rid of it, but there must be some scar tissue left over. The gland sometimes feels like it's "backed up" and I have to squeeze out the excess spit!

 

But, you know, see your doctor. Especially if it gets worse.
