1ml syringes. Reusable?

I'm seeing 1ml syringes being sold in bulk which are intended for one-time use only. Seems a big waste. Is everyone here using the same syringe day after day? I don't see what the hazard would be.

I bought 100 of them and wondered the same thing and was told they can be used again.  You'll know when to discard one because it just doesn't draw up right anymore.  But, you'll get many uses out of each one before that happens.

Thanks for replying. I'm getting BD brand which are good quality, so I expect they'll last.

I reuse mine but I rinse and dry them very well.  I get about two weeks worth of use per syringe before the letters start wearing off.

It's weird, but the letters and numbers on my 1 ml don't wear off.  On the 10 ml, they do.

Builder’s tip to put clear Scotch tape over the numbers works.

I used the same 1ml syringe for 2 years.  Put a piece of transparent taper over the markings and you'll be fine.
