What doctors and medical students do learn during their education

I just checked the local curriculum. Not including specialisms like neurology etc. But including the job of a 'GP'.

It's horrible. I was told by someone that they learned about the dangers of benzodiazepines these days ...

But they don't really learn anything beyond therapeutic use and what could be physically wrong with a person that does not confirm to a 'disease' as mentioned in their textbooks ....

Not that different in the USA ? Medically unexplained ? = medical laziness and ignorance. Is this 2017 ?

Do you have a copy of the curriculum or did you hear about it from someone else? I would certainly like to know! I've heard it's very cursory and doesn't go into detail at all. I do wonder what pharmacists are told in their schools. I wonder if they're given more information.

It's not written in English ... so I can't really post it.

' I do wonder what pharmacists are told in their schools' one told me: if it's not written in the local PI sheet, than a 'side effect' does not exist ...

Does anyone know someone who's enrolled in a medical study ? Ask them ?

I'm planning to enroll in a course myself this year, and hopefully, I'll gain some insights that will help answer those questions. But before I dive in, I'm reaching out to bellus academy customer service for a few clarifications. It's always good to have a solid foundation before embarking on something new, right?
