Sore throat - persistent - anyone recoverd from?

At the moment I have a persistent sore throat..sometimes its one sided..very strange

Yes, me too - so my throat is worse in the morning as well and it typically eases during the day. Almost 9 months off. Strange but I hope it goes away.
