How deep of a sleep level We reach is very important, that is what got Me in trouble this time around when insomnia returned.  Contrary to popular belief You can dream in a light twilight state of sleep I know I visited a sleep doc.

I kept saying to Myself hell Im dreaming so I must be in a deep sleep answer not always !  I kept waking up feeling like I had not slept at all and that was because I was not even coming near the deep levels of sleep. Im told that some docs have brain wave equipment that is portable in which You take home and hook Yourself up then return the equipment for a reading on how You did.

I have not tried this yet but am looking into it, sleep level is so important and that is what My problem is . Insomnia is what got Me back on this K as nothing else helped so its back to square one for Me. Consider an apt with a sleep specialist it may be to Your benefit in knowing just how deep You are sleeping.

AT present Im lucky if I get 3hours of light sleep and must get off the 0.25mg of K that pooped out for sleep after 4 nights.

I use one of those wristbands the measures your pulse, how many steps you take, etc and it also measures how long you stay in each stage of sleep. It's called Jawbone and it has an app you download onto your phone. Somehow it can tell what stage of sleep you're in by your heartrate. I really like it, the app shows exactly what time you fall asleep, what time you hit each stage and when you wake up. It can't be as accurate as the equipment the dr uses, of course, but it at least gives you a general idea. I think it was around $150. There's several model types and the one with the sleep app is the most expensive one unfortunately.

Yeah I know what you're talking about here. I've been up for three nights now, and I must have fell asleep this afternoon, for no more than around five minutes, and had a bizarre dream. When I do eventually collapse after about a week or so (feels like my body just gives up), the 'sleep' I do get then for a couple of hours is just a black void, and I wake up feeling ten times worse.

During my taper I started to get vivid, totally messed up dreams when I got to lower doses, but didn't stop sleeping completely like I have now until my WD sxs started after I finished completely.
