[he...]
I need a titration schedule for diazepam. I have 5 mg tablets and have been taking 1/2 of the pill 3 x a day. I can't drink milk as I am allergic to it. And where do you get the 100 ml cylinders?
[Di...]
Hi Henny If it's at all possible it would be good if you could also get 2mg tablets, as it will make it easier to titrate 1mg of your dose and take the rest in tablet form. Using 5mg isn't impossible, it's just easier with 2mg tablets. Your options for doing a liquid titration (other than using milk) are Ora-Plus/Ora Sweet (which are suspension agents), a very small amount of Vodka (the alcohol dissolves the valium) and Liquid Valium (you will need to get a prescription from your doctor). btw - some people have been successful with using milk substitutes like soy, almond etc. These are a few links that might help you decide which direction you want to go in. These are the methods I've used for Liquid Valium and Vodka ... http://www.benzobuddies.org/forum/index.php?topic=97511.msg1248599#msg1248599 http://www.benzobuddies.org/forum/index.php?topic=110496.0 This is Eliz's method of using Ora-Plus/Ora Sweet .... http://www.benzobuddies.org/forum/index.php?topic=97043.0 If you have any specific questions about these methods you could post on the relevant thread. [he...]
I should mention that I'm back on Paxil. Currently at 8 mg. I have been advised to try to updose, maybe to the 10 mg or even back up to 20. I am not stable at all but I don't know what is causing my problems but I feel like I've made a mistake taking the diazepam on a regular basis as I was advised to do. I really don't know where to turn but I don't feel like the diazepam is helping me any.
