Living with long term harm from benzos

I see Scottie Dog has got in first with her photo, the others aren't very pleased!!

Fiona, Bianca has found a really interesting book in the mansion library. It's all about Scotland! And it's answered a question that has been on her mind for years: what on earth does a Scotsman carry in his sporran? Well, here's the answer: his fierce fighting kittens!

 

SD is so happy that Mom picked her for her avatar....Tootles is not happy!!

Well I think it is time Scottie Dog had her picture as my avatar, those  CATS get all the attention most of the time.  I am glad Bianca found a good book, I just hope she wasn't reading about what is under the kilt.  

I am having a lazy day after being out yesterday for lunch.  It was a complete change for me as I have only been out for lunch a handful of times since 2013.  I usually aim for the afternoon when I am likely to be more functional.  Also am rarely out on a Sunday, tend to be out during the week and stay home on a Sunday.  So today feels like Sunday as I try to go for a swim on a Monday.  I will be muddled for the rest of the week.

Buttons can calm down, it is raining here too and I have decided to stay at home today.  I did pop out to put a birthday card in the mail but Buttons thought I was going to the swimming pool and forgotten all about him.   Hope the rain clears up soon at your end, we are going to have showers or scattered showers for the rest of the week.  This is supposed to be the summer time!

Bianca is a little confused. Who are the critters who live at the  mansion? Are there "tenants" as well as visiting guests? Like Buttons? Does she/he live there or just pop in? What about Henri? She feels apologetic that she doesn't know the full cast of characters, and is hopeful that someone can set her straight.

I will give this a try, but may mess it up.

 

These live at the Mansion:

MC, gray tabby, sometimes called Dada by Fifi, real name is Mensa Cat but we don't use it so he doesn't get a big head

Gigi and Cici, I think Cici is the white one and Gigi the black one

Scotty Dog, aka SD, white westie, heartthrob to various other dogs

Buttons, brown rabbit

Henri, hedgehog

Tootles, orange tabby

Grumpy cat, aka GC, dangerous driver

Fifi, gray tabby kitten forever

 

Henri and Fifi are the little ones. I'm not sure who else is a little one. Is Buttons? Someone else will have to tell which are boys and which are girls. They crossdress so it gets confusing!

 

Others:

Gran, older white cat who lives in a retirement home in FL. She was sent there because she was so much trouble.

Puff, my real life hamster

Aunt Carol, a mountain lion who sometimes shows up uninvited 

And now Bianca visits, too.

 

Did I miss anybody?

 

You did a great job there.  MC is male (DaDa), business tycoon and head of the mansion, all the other cats are female, GiGi, CiCi, FiFi, Grumpy Cat so that is easy peasy.  Henri is a bit uncertain, Buttons I think is a boy, I get mixed up too.  Scottie Dog is female.    If you remember MC, Dada is male you are safe enough saying all the others are female.   Buttons, Henri and FiFi are still at school although you would never know as they seem to mess around most of the time, the others are all grown up and working in their different careers.   In the meantime I just sit back and take it easy.

What, exactly does MC call a career these days? And is dangerous driving a career? Seems to be GC's chosen path.

Puff is sad. He says it's summer vacation so he shouldn't have to go to school even though he's little.

 

 

I have an empty apartment tonight. All my little foster kittens had to go spend the night at the shelter and see the vet tomorrow because they have had upset tummies all weekend. What will I do with myself if I am not cleaning poop and vomit off of kittens, the floors, myself? Perhaps I will eat and shower!

Bianca is studying. School starts soon, she says. You can never be too prepared. Thankfully the mansion has LOTS of books.

Well Bianca needs to know that Gigi is MC's squeeze....but MC has a wandering eye and new Lady is very pretty.

This is all rather amusing, I am glad Bianca has joined us as she might be a good influence on the little ones who should be studying too.  However Puff is right it is the summer time and schools are out right now.  I must check the date when they start again or I might be told some porkie pies about when school is due to go back.  It is lovely to have us all here again chatting.  I think you should rest and enjoy the break, gardie, I really don't envy you with those kittens. At least I have all the grown ups in my house to look after Buttons, Henri and FiFi.  There's an idea, if you had an older cat to help look after the kitties? Grumpy Cat is a good driver nowadays, she is very careful driving the busses, she knows that there are older people getting on and off.  However she has bought a rather fast car for herself and I haven't been out in that yet!!   MC's career is making money!!    Don't think I will be doing much today, didn't sleep so well.  It rained all day yesterday, it really was miserable.

The critters are mad. They say this is real life, not a play! Although, this does give MC an idea about big monies.

Busted. No fish for dinner after all. 

We aren't getting a huge amount of rain, not sure if it is the right amount for people with gardens or not, some days it has been quite heavy.  Critters are being very good.  I am just staying in bed. 

Staying in bed sounds like a good plan today. No worries, Tootles will be out on bail soon and taking care of dinner (if MC can be persuaded to part with some of his monies).

 

I will be going to pick up the kittens from the vet. They were given a different food. I truly hope it smells better. The last food had liver in it. Pee-eeeew. I also hope they are not given back to us covered in food, but I suspect they will be. Baths for everybody!
