Loraz titration, need advice please!

Hi, am 8 days into titration taper of Lorazepam.  Has been going ok, but today I woke up feeling very shaky - I am taking 2 daily doses, I take one around 7am and one around 2pm, should I be making it into 3 doses?  I originally took half a tablet at those times, so I thought it would be ok to continue that on titration. Am dropping 1ml per day.

It might be worth gradually switching to taking your Lorazepam three times per day. Lorazepam has fairly short half-life, so it would not be surprising if you were suffering from interdose withdrawal symptoms.

I did a post about my pdoc changing me from Lorazepam to diazepam - he just said start tomorrow substituting 10mg for 1mg - am a bit worried as it seems most people do a crossover.  I am currently titrating the 1mg Loraz - can I just do this?????

I dont think switching at once is a good idea. Ashton usually switches .5mg to 5mg of valium at a time. You may want to give that a try.

Ashton always switch her patients gradually. This makes sense since they have very different half-lifes and differing therapeutic profiles too. What dose tablets do you use?
