Has anyone ever used Doxepin for sleep?

 

I am highly thinking about it.

 

I know Ashton speaks of it.

I used it for about a week during the worst part of my insomnia... It didn't help me at all but I was a severe case. My mother-in-law swears by it but said it lost efficacy over time.

 

Remeron worked much better for me.

I was on Remeron before, yes it worked but I don't think my body could handle it in this state, Remeron is Pro-Convulsive, and I surely do not need a convulsion.

Give Doxepin a whirl... I know it worked for my Mother-in-law and my pharmacist says it's more sedating than Ambien.

I've been on doxipen (varying doses) and if it weren't for it, I would never sleep. I'm a chronic insomniac. It's not lost it effectiveness in my case at all.
