Anyone have experience with Resperidone .?

 My not benzo wise P-doc just prescribed me Resperidone .25mg . he says it will help with anxiety and maybe insomnia. Please tell me your experience with this stuff.

Risperidone (trade name Risperdal) is an anti-psychotic whose off-label uses include the treatment of anxiety and insomnia. I was tried on it years ago, about all I can say about it is that it didn't do much for either, but did cause a loss of creativity and restless legs.

 

Just one person's experience. The spelling here is correct, so if you want to Wiki it, you'll likely learn more.

thanks , I have researched it a bit and I dont think im going to take it. The side effects seem too much.

Risperdal, yes I'm on. 4-6mg of it a day, which are big doses.

 

Does it help psychotic symptoms? Yes for me it does, but I'm Schizo.

 

Does it help w/d? No clue because I'm on it.

 

I would have to c/t it.

 

But then again, I have c/t it.. and had to go back on it.
