Bad allergy season in Virginia….otc medicine that helps?

I live in the state of Virginia which is listed as one of the top ten states for bad allergy seasons.  I received an email from my GP this morning alerting all his patients to a rough allergy season, with it starting three weeks earlier than previous years and lasting into June.  I have used Benadryl on and off but won’t take it anymore because of the warnings for dementia.  Plus, it does make me sleepy!!!

I would like some feedback from those of you who also suffer seasonal allergies, and what you take over the counter that helps with headaches and nasal stuffiness.
