Has anyone took an antidepressant during withdrawls and had a bad reaction.

Hi,

I have asked a similar question in a previous post as I'm considering taking an antidepressant to help withdrawl symptoms. Does anyone have any negative experience of this while going through withdrawl? the worry I have is that I have been on an ssri before and reacted badly whilst introducing the drug. The symptoms settled and it actually helped a lot with anxiety although there were other side affects. I just worry that if I react the same way again it could tip me over the edge because anxiety ontop of anxiety doesn't sound like much fun! the tempting thing though is that it did eventually work. Of course, the worry we all have is making ourselves worse. If anyone can share their experiences it would be much appreciated.

It made me worse I started hearing things getting brain zaps and going unconscious

It seems like also this is highly personal.

It helped me, I think.. it's not a quick super fix like benzo.

If you do decide to try go gentle.
