Ok to take a Tylenol 3 for some temporary pain relief!

Had a minor injury this morning which has put me to bed as my right knee is badly sprained and I need some good pain relief for a couple days until I can get to my orthopedic doctor on Monday!  I am 48 months out and wondering if a couple of Tylenol with codeine will cause me any issues?

Never mind….doctor said to just take Tylenol extra strength!!!

I took some oxy codone for pain when I was still in my first year and it didn’t affect badly. It actually relieved most of my symptoms for a few a hours.

It’s funny how they will prescribe a benzo so readily but ask them for a mild narcotic like codeine and they shut you down.
