NEW here - I need help figuring out a taper

Heyyy! so i got the scale and file in and am ready to figure out this taper! I also talked with my family doctor and gonna be getting a refill of my 1mg dose of Ativan here in the next couple days so hopefully that will make cutting them easier.

Hi Ninja, 

To get started. You'll need to calibrate your scale.  Follow the instructions and get that done.

Once you've calibrated your scale you'll need to weight 10 pills. 

First, put the little dish on the scale and turn it on. It should read 0.000g

Place 10 1mg pills lorazepam in the little dish And give me the total 

Weigh 3 pills separately and give me the total of each pill

I'll be back once you've done this ok

So for 10 1mg pills it came out to 0.984g

Pill 1: 0.100g

Pill 2: 0.099g

Pill 3: 0.103g

im taking 2mg total a day and 1mg when i wake up and 1mg in the afternoon, usually 6 to 8 hours after i took the morning pill.

yes 1mg twice a day correct. For a total of 2mg daily

You could round off your pills to 

0.100

At a 5% reduction for your 1st taper, .95

Now I'm not clear on the decimals ninja 

But its basically 5% from 100=95

Youll gently shsve off 5% 

the file is very good so be careful not to shave too much at a time.

your looking for 0.095 so be careful 

weigh a few days of your pills so you'll have them, keep them separate from your other pills

If you want to reduce 10%, your dose wouod be 0.090, follow?

most like to start out at 5% to see how we do, i cut 5%, hold for awhile and cut another 5% in a couple weeks or even a month depending on how i feel

Stick with your original pill weight of 0.100

I'm pretty sure I've got this right ninja but you can double check with one of the others on this to be sure if you'll feel more comfortable.  I think I would rather you did ok

Not gonna lie i don't think that's the manufacture now that i look at it my pill bottle dosent really have a lot of info on it.

@[Ni...] I was on buspar for only two week after that i have to face extreme withdrawals, nausea, vomiting ,body jerks, vibrations etc. It is very powerfull drug.
