low dose substitution?

Similar to a recent post regarding switching from ativan to diazepam. I am down to 0.18 mg/day of ativan dosing 4x/day using manufactuers solution mixed in water. Symptoms are increasing and I am wondering if there is any swapping that would help.

 

Such as taking 1 mg of diazepam at pm then go to tid dosing during the day while keeping total equivalent dose at 0.18.

 

Seems many prefer diazepam as these interdose symptoms are getting

brutal.

So you’re talking about crossing part of your Ativan dose over to Diazepam or all of it?
