Low Dose Naltrexone

Hello,

I have been recommended to start taking a low dose of Naltrexone for pain that I have due to the pain I have been struggling with for the past 2 years. Has anyone tried this while actively tapering?

My pain doctor thinks it might make the taper easier as well.

I'm starting on 1 mg per day.

There is a lot of research on this drug and so far it looks promising. If anyone knows from experience please share with me .

What is causing your pain?

I don't do well on it, tried a few, it helps with pain but mine pain was something else, it's gabaergic and I don't feel well my mentally taking it, not major setbacks, had a worst time with other stuff

I take LDN, 4.5 mg nightly for low back pain and as a mild prokinetic for my gut. I started taking it when I had SIBO. I feel like it’s been helpful.
