liquid taper

I am currently using Manufacturers Liquid Lorazepam diluted in tap water to titrate. I add 1 ml of the liquid to 299 ml of water.

 

That makes about 4 days worth of doses. Any thoughts on how long this mixture is good to use? I just keep it in the fridge.

I don't know how long a diluted mixture will last but I want to suggest you rather use bottled water to dilute your mixture.  We just don't know what nasties might hide in tap water and interact with your meds.

Thats the problem, we don't know how long the mixture will stay viable.  Members have said they'll use it for up to a week but we don't even know if that's acceptable.  Making modifications in any prescription drug confers a degree of risk. As a general rule of thumb, the greater degree of modification, the higher the degree of risk.

 

I agree with jelly baby, maybe use distilled water and keep it in the fridge, I like the idea of making a new batch after 4 days.
