Finished tapering 15 days ago

I’ve been on Valium 15mg a day ( 5mg x3 a day) since last Aug.  tried to stop and had a lot of withdrawal symptoms. Started tampering down a few months ago and just finished a couple weeks ago. Even after tapering down  then stopping I’m having a lot of withdrawal symptoms when I stopped.

I am glad you found and joined our community. Congratulations on being benzo free! We often tell people who are tapering that tapering down is only the first step. The next step is recovery after stopping benzo's completely. Unfortunately it is quite normal for symptoms to remain for some time after you've stopped using benzo's. I am 4 months benzo free and still experiencing lots of symptoms. The good news is, with time the majority of people fully recover. If you look at chapter 3 of The Ashton Manual, it lists the most common withdrawal symptoms.
