What drug are you on and have you taken benzodiazepines before?  We typically suggest reducing your dose by about 5-10% every couple of weeks but using your symptoms to guide you is actually a better way to stay functional.  Sometimes members who have been on a benzo for a fairly short amount of time can get away with tapering faster.
