My goodness, what a surprise, thank you all!  Gardie, that kitty looks just like me, except I have a pink cast! 

 

It took me a couple of days but I’m finally adjusting to my new reality, 6 weeks (I hope) of hobbling around in a cast.  But the thing about my situation vs what most members are going through is I have a beginning, a middle and an end for recovery and I don’t have a brain that’s telling me all is lost, that I’ll never recover so as crummy as my situation is, I’m still in better shape than most here.  Hard to believe that broken bones are preferable to withdrawing from a tiny little pill.

Try and enjoy your forced inactivity Pam. It’s good that you see it’s just a temporary setback. It will stop you partying to excess!…….or it might not!
