Klonopin: Short taper and jump. Finally free of this junk!

4 months after beginning my taper from 3 years at .5mg a day I'm off. It's been a week since I took my last .06 mg and I feel fantastic. I didn't want to string it out. While I'm aware I may not be fully out of the woods, it sure feels like it. I had a very smooth ride down compared to what a lot of people on here have had. Hopefully others can take comfort in knowing that it's not always the worst imaginable scenario. I sympathize and empathize with everyone on here going through their personal journey with this shit. I do know I never, ever, ever, ever want to take another piece of benzo again. Love to everyone here. Thank you all for this site.

Thank you for giving others hope, we need to hear from everyone, even those who have an easier time of this.  I hope you continue to do well, I'm glad to hear you're not going to risk taking this drug again, I've seen too many stop it with ease only to take it again and discover its not so easy the next time.
