Does clonapezam cause heart or brain problem?

Oh you recently CT'd! Benzos deplete a lot of necessary vitamins and minerals in the body that cause issues with the heart, brain, and other organs. Go get a full bloodwork done to see all your deficiencies. I'd specifically request your B vitamins and your electrolytes! And if you're still having trouble keeping food down for the love of god EAT. Even if you throw it up, EAT. Easy to digest stuff of course. Eggs, avocado, chicken (chew well!), etc... Get all your calories in and try to sleep well if you can.

Hi KiroKiro,

Can you provide references that benzo's deplete necessary vitamins and minerals in the body?

How am I now?  Functional but not how I was.  Yvette won't be a day if my life I won't regret taking that stuff or at least not stopping while I was ahead.  You'll be fine with the small amount you took.

I pray to God that you get alright soon.

I keep getting worse all the time.  I have dementia now and I'm only 60.  I've been off about 9 years now and I'm certain I have permanent damage.

Did doctors confirmed that you have some damage due to this medicine?

I have zero energy or stamina,  I used to go all day long and live a complex life,  I do good to make breakfast for my kids and stay on my feet all morning now.  My brain just wants to shut down.  It's awful,  no need for a dr to confirm the damage,  It's obvious for me,  the lack of brain energy isn't changing.

But I am sure it will heal too.. it's just taking time.. I pray that you get back to normal soon.

My brain damage is from drugs.  I don't need a doc to confirm it for me.  I know how I feel now and what I'm not able to do anymore since getting off the poisons.

How do one gets to know if their brain is damaged?

I went to see MD's and specialists and had lots of tests done and the astute docs could see by my behavior and problems communicating and talking, etc. that I had severe cognitive problems.  I was diagnosed with Memory Impairment and Amnesia, then Lupus Encephalitis.  All those indicate brain damage.  I have a degree in the medical field and worked in the medical field too so I know what's happened to me.

bp, I know for me my entire nervous system including my brain is permanently damaged from drugs.  I haven't had relief from the inner tremors now since I got off the pills almost 9 years ago.  I just know instinctively that I have permanent damage now.

I have a setchy memory. It's like a computer that has a weak internet signal.

I have a hard time filling out forms,  I sometimes forget words and names but it comes to me eventually.

It's not brain damage

It's yrs and yrs of benzos?

real senility or dementia is driving somewhere and forgetting your way home,  forgetting to pay your bills, etc

It might be from brain shrinkage.

I don't think any of us have those probs

Absolutley, they damage gaba receptors and if the gaba receptors don't return the HR is higher and the brain doesn't work the same.

I agree with this.  When I was in tolerance w/d and having symptoms, I went to the doc and he referred me to a Neurologist.  He ran an ANA blood test and it was positive.  Then I went to a Rheumatologist for further testing and she did lots of blood tests and then diagnosed me with APS Lupus and Reynaud's Syndrome.  Then a Hematologist diagnosed me with Thrombophilia.  Then another DO diagnosed me with Tachycardia.  I'm convinced all of this is caused by benzo and Z-drug damage.  This past Jan. an MD diagnosed me with Lupus Encephalitis.  I'm convinced I have drug-induced Lupus.  I never had any of these symptoms until I went into tolerance w/d and then got off the benzo's.

Is tolerance WD a different type of WD?

I think tolerance wd is much worse as you already started having symptoms while taking medicines which later on is added while tapering of drug.
