Long term therapeutic communities (TCs) for those in benzo recovery?

Hi, I am not sure if this is the right section for this question.

 

Back in the early 1990s, I had problems with opiate addiction.  I first had to go through detox and be clean.  Then I was admitted to a long-term therapeutic community (TC) where I stayed for an entire year.  Medicaid paid for it. 

 

Since it seems like many can't even function for the first few months after stopping benzos, I am wondering if any TCs exist just for benzo recovery.  NOT for people still on benzoes but for those who have detoxed from them. If there aren't, I wonder why?  I read somewhere that 1 out of 10 adult Americans are prescribed a benzo in any given recent year -- the need is great.

After some deliberation, I came up with -Money and power corrupt ethics and empathy (though I had to wander down a few paths to get there..)
