Taking Topamax (generic topiramate) for migraine prevention

Hi, I am halfway through my Lorazapam taper...down to .5 mg. per day from 1 mg. per day and am wondering if anyone else happens to be taking Topamax for migraine prevention? It is prescribed to migraine prevention in it's smallest dosage, and for seizure prevention of epilepsy in stronger doses. I wonder if it is helping me at all with the withdrawels from the Ativan? I have some nausea, wake up quite a few times at night  and a  couple of other symptoms but nothing really horrible. Not depressed. Some visual distortion. Any thoughts on this?

Topamax is commonly used off label for mood stabilization.  It could definitely be helping you, I wish I could have something to take the edge off.
