~ Milligram vs Milliliter ~

I’m tapering clonazepam using DLMT. I was under the impression ml = mg.  Today’s dose is .54ml but I say it’s .54mg.  Are they interchangeable?  If not, what milligram dose am I taking?  I’m following the standard formula:

 

1mg poison (aka clonazepam), 2ml vodka, 8ml water.  Tomorrow’s dose will be .53ml, then .52ml, etc. 

 

Just wondering...
