Pink dot on cheek from injection

Recommended Posts

Hello all. I had microneedling with PRP in mid July with some plasma injections into cheeks to increase volume. 2 months later I still had a pink dot on cheek that faded some but didn't completely go away.I felt that the ice pack may have been held there too long before injection.  There wasn't anything that the nurse who did this treatment could do about dot. 2 dermatologists said it's Subaceous Hyperplasia and one said broken or ruptured capillary. The 2nd dermatologist treated it with cauterizing and removed Subaceous Hyperplasia but a week later the pink dot remains. She said the capillary may have gotten irritated again. Has anyone had this experience? Really don't want a laser treatment but if that's what it takes... If it's a ruptured capillary do those take quite some time to heal? This is all very discouraging since it's right in the middle of my cheek. Thank you for any advice.
