Valium making me worse (HELP) 🙏

I did a fast transition/ taper from k to v (see history) but have been unable to stabilize in over 2 months and now have added sx of severe insomnia micro

Sleeps with night sweats and skin on fire and headaches / body aches. Dr wants me to go back to k? Looking for advice or similar experiences?

I’ve been on both. Valium can make people ill. I’ve seen it before. So can other benzos but I’ll leave that for another day. If the klonopin didn’t make you sick you might want to think about going back on it. And once you do, if you do, I would think waiting a while to stabilize would make the better chance of success. Benzos have taken so much from us, but one thing you have over them is control of your taper. You can choose which benzo and your taper plan. I hope whatever you decide works. No need to be this sick if it can be helped. Best of luck.
