DLMT help please

Hello!

I need help getting started on a DLMT please.

I am currently on 1.5mg of Lorazepam divided in four uneven doses. Each 1 mg tablet weighs .060g. I have been doing dry cuts using a gram scale.

To convert to a DLMT:

1.5mg x 5% = .075mg

.075mg/14 days = .005mg

Is this correct? My daily deduction would be how many ml?

For 10 days of solution:

15 tablets: 30 ml vodka: 120ml water?

My first 2 doses of the day are .060g each (or half a tablet = .5mg) which would convert to 5 ml each correct?

Where I am confused is my last 2 doses of the day are .045g and .015g by weight. How would I convert that to ml?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I think you mean "My first 2 doses of the day are .030g each (or half a tablet = .5mg)"

And if a 1mg tablet weighs .060g, the .045g = .75mg, and .015g = .25mg.

But that adds up to .060g (..045+.015=.060), or 1mg.  So that would make your total dose 2mg (.030+.030+.45+.15= .120g, 0r 2mg.

You have some error here in some of your numbers.

The answer and the procedure is really simple, but I need to know exactly what your doses are, either in grams fo weight, or milligram doses.

Sorry, each 1 mg tablet weighs .120g. Half a tablet weighs .060g.

My doses are .060g, .060g, .045g, .015g

Sorry, each 1 mg tablet weighs .120g. Half a tablet weighs .060g.

My doses are .060g, .060g, .045g, .015g

Then your doses, in mgs, are: .5mg, .5mg, 3.75mg, 1.25mg, total 1.5mg

So the liquid doses will be 5ml, 5ml, 3.75ml, 1.25ml, total 15ml.

Personally, I would 1) level out the 2 evening dose to  .25mg each.  Then 2) pull up the entire days liquid dose (15ml) and put in a standard measuring cup and top up with more water to  make 1 1/2 cups.  The take 1/2 cup, 1/2 cup, 1/4 cup, 1/4 cup.

This will allow you to keep make uniform cuts from all doses, and maintain the same proportional distribution.

You can really do the same thing with your current doses, but the 3/8 and 1/8 cup will be a little harder to eyeball.

Oh thank you so much Builder!!! Are my other calculations correct? What would be my daily ml reduction?

If your reducing .005mgs/day, then you will lower the liquid by .05mls per day.

If your solution is .1mg per ml, then the ml value will always be 10X the mg value

Sorry to bother you one more time Builder......

Then I have done the calculations correctly for

1) determining what 5% of my dosage is per 14 days?

2) creating my solution?

Thank you for your patience!!
