[At...]
Signature is not your to date. 0.5 tablets .25 AM .125 Noon. .25PM I want to use the method of dissolving in alcohol and mixing with distilled water. I will probably keep 3 x dosing. I want to do 1 week of holding after switching to liquid. Plan to change all doses to liquid at same time, bad idea? After that I want to do 10% every 10 days. Too aggressive? I have two months of use. First week was 1.0-1.5 daily. Second week was 1.0 for several days then I dry cut down to .25 1x a day but lost it and updosed majorly to .75 daily. So highest daily dose outside of first 2 weeks was .75. Hoping a DLMT can get me out of this mess smoothly. Not sure how aggressive I want to be considering 2 month use. [bu...]
0.5 pills Dose 3x a day Alcohol water method Starting daily total 0.625 Rate 10% / 14 days Please help me Dissolve 10 tablets (5mg) in 10ml vodka, and add 40ml water (plain water is OK) .625mg X 10% =.0625mg reduction .0625mg/14 days = .0045mg round up to .005mg/day reduction (This is actually 11% per 14 days) Daily Schedule starting at .625mg: .625mg (6.25ml) .620mg (6.20ml) .615mg (6.15ml) .610mg (6.10ml etc... You can divide the daily dose into smaller doses however you wish. Just reduce your dose by .05ml each day. Your 50ml batch will last approx. a week. Store at room temp in a closed glass jar. [At...]
What is the ratio formula for the solution? Seems like the one listed uses more alcohol then I have seen in a lot of other posts. Thank You for the information.
[bu...]
2ml of vodka (.8ml actual alcohol) for 1mg of lorazepam is sufficient.
[At...]
So I put tablets in Mason jar and pour in the everclear. Let tablets dissolve on their own? Agitate them with something but make sure to rinse agitation instrument into jar with water? Add water and voila? Why do so many people seem to have issues on the cross over to liquid it has me nervous. But I agree with builder as I have seen him post before stating the dose is the same in tablet and liquid form. Also I cut .125 two days ago. Feeling insane anxiety and anxiety related symptoms today. Hoping it settles down and stabilizes. That way I can do a nice steady DLMT from 0.5. Just FYI, I learned about liquid microtaper on the old BDR board. All members at the that site (hundreds, maybe thousands?) were doing some kind of liquid taper, milk, Rx liquid, vodka, etc. I never saw anyone say they had any issue changing to or adding liquid to their dose. It seems to be just a BB issue. When you swallow a tablet, its liquid within seconds anyway.
[At...]
Can someone link me to some good syringes and other needed equipment on amazon. I am having trouble figuring out what to use for my dose containers. I am going to keep batch in a mason jar. I also need a scale for when I am making batch right? Just go toe Amazon.com and search for "oral syringe". You will probably need 1ml and 10ml syringes. A 50-60ml syringe will be helpful, but not required. No, you won't need a scale for a liquid taper. [At...]
Ok they will be here in 2 days. I am really tempted to either do another .125 dry cut or to try to liquid titrate aggressively. I feel like I am at a point that too slow of a liquid titration will increase my dependence at this point. But, I also need to stay functional for numerous reasons. I know no one can answer this for me directly. But any suggestions on the rate? What if I base all my liquid cut rates on the original dose instead of recalculating? I can always pull back if I start getting bad right? I mean 25% over two weeks still has to be better then 25% cut in one day.

[bu...]
I mean 25% over two weeks still has to be better then 25% cut in one day. Oh, absolutely. That's the whole logic behind a daily taper.
[At...]
I just don't know what to do. It seems unreasonable to taper for 9 months from such a "low" dose. I was able to cut from 0.75 to 0.5 in 0.125 cuts in two weeks with only increased anxiety as a symptom.
[At...]
Just to verify as making first batch tomorrow. 10 x 0.5 lorazepam pills + 10ml of everclear + 40ml water ? Seems like so much alcohol but if that is correct it is correct. Will this be my batch formula the entire taper?
[bu...]
If your using Everclear, 190 proof, then you only need 5ml. Its the alcohol content that's important. You need approx. 1ml of alcohol for each mg or benzo. So if you were using 80 proof vodka, (40% alcohol) you would need 2ml for each mg. If you use Everclear 190 proof (95% alcohol) then 1ml for each mg is enough.
[At...]
Once I have one of my daily doses in its own container can I further dilute it?
[bu...]
Once I have one of my daily doses in its own container can I further dilute it? Yes. Once you have measured out the appropriate amount for the dose, you can dilute it any way you wish. All that matters is you taken the amount of the dose. [At...]
So...I am down to 0.25 a day in 2 x 0.125 doses. I would say I am stable after 1 week at this dose. I have quite a bit of anticipatory anxiety about cutting 0.125 again (50% cut) and also going to 1 dose a day. It may be time to switch to the liquid titration. If I do that, is my preparation the same? 10 0.5 pills 10 ml of everclear and 40 ml of water? I am very tempted to just keep doing the dry cut as it has been pretty symptom free. But cutting 50% then jumping in 7 days has created so much anxiety.
