NMDA Antagonist reverse withdraws and up regulate receptors

My experience with Agmatine (an NMDA antagonist) might be relevant.

There is a paper that says similar things in that thread to what the paper in this thread discuss. There is also my experience with using Agmatine. I think there is an issue with using NMDA antagonists long term as over time you will tend to up regulate that system (just as benzos down regulate the GABAnergic system). Tolerance works both ways unfortunately.
