[...]
Hi all, I thought this as a nice follow-up to maggiemay's question of the week. You have to give all your books away except you can keep three. My choice would be: The Velveteen rabbit by I think Margery williams The drama of being a child by alice miller and the bfg by roald dahl What would yours be? [bl...]
This one is hard I don't know If i can keep it to 3, hummm, 1. Complete poems, W.B. Yeats 2. Complete essays, Mark Twain 3. Collected letters of Oscar Wilde If I could have a couple more they would be: the collected writings of Thomas Jefferson, Rimbaud's complete poems and a monograph on my favorite artist, James Ensor. Ok, face it, I just cannot give up my library!! XXXXChristine/BlueMoth

[bl...]
Hi all, I would have loved to include my comic book collection, but alas, my husbands mother tossed them (his and mine) when we were away at college in the 70's. My husband had EVERY original Marvel comic from the beginning to when he turned 20 and I had most of my kid ones, including Archie and Jughead. She also threw away all our underground comix, ouch. If we had all those now, and my husbands baseball cards from the 50's and 60's (which she also tossed) we could retire to easy street! Yeah Maggie, I do have a huge library. I started collecting books when I was a kid. I never get rid of any of them. I found out long ago that it was far cheaper for me to buy a book than it was to get it from the library, forget to return it, lose it and have to pay mass late fees or replace the book.
