Hi Bama,

That's awesome news, but be warned if you are on a ppi, such as nexium that it takes 2 weeks to feel the awful acid rebound.

I sure hope you don't get it, but just a warning.

I tapered my mom off nexium and the first 1.5 weeks were great, but by week 2, bam, acid rebound.

I also, used some chinese herbs, but what worked the best is fennel, digestive bitters, slippery elm lozenges and dgl lozenges and sodium alginate (Gaviscon has this in it).

I sure hope yours doesn't come back.

Beautiful success story! Give me hope. I would like to know how are you now? How is the SSRI forwked for you? Did you able to come off?
