Conafetto,

Here is how to taper 0.02875 mg per day to reach zero benzo in 400 days.

You need to buy three things:

(1) A large syringe (100 to 300 mL would be best)

(2) A tiny syringe (1 mL size)

(3) A 1000 mL measuring cup

Each day, do this:

(1) Put 2 of your 10mg tablets in a 1000 mL measuring cup (if desired, you could crush them with a spoon).

(2) Add enough whole milk to fill to 700 mL

(3) Stir to dissolve

(4) Use syringes to remove some of the mixture and throw it away (see the table below)

(5) Drink the remaining mixture (part for your 6pm dose and the rest at 11pm).

(6) Make sure to swirl some water into the empty measuring cup and drink the water (in case some benzo/milk is stuck to the sides of the cup).

Table:  Here is how much to remove (use syringes) each day:

day 1 throw away 300 mL

day 2 throw away 301 mL

day 3 throw away 302 mL

day 4 throw away 303 mL

day 5 throw away 304 mL

Do you see the pattern?  Each day you remove one more mL.

Continue this for a total of 400 days and you are at zero

You can hold by just repeating the same day as long as you want.

Bob

Bob, this is quite clear

Some questions, still

I start mixing ( crushing) 2 pills of 10 mg in 700 ml.

When do I use the big when the small syringe?

Do I need to measure the quantity I throw away?

How much of the mixture do I take at 6 pm

How much at 11 pm

The measuring I start at is the 11,5 mg?

It doesn’t bring me to a higher dose, since I dissolve 2 x 10 mg pills.

I have quite precise pill cutter, equadose, I could cut one of the pills in half, but that would probably change the math.

Hmmm, I mean the quantity removed gets bigger, so the role of the syringes is not yet clear

Conafetto,

Great questions.

(1) Any syringes will do (no need for Amazon).

(2) Yes, this schedule starts you at 11.5 mg

(3) Yes, you must measure the amount to throw away so you get an accurate amount remaining to drink.

(4) Use the big syringe to remove 300 mL and then the smaller syringe to get the rest

(5) It is totally up to you about how much to drink at 6pm and 11pm.  If you have trouble sleeping, then drink most of it at night.  In fact, for my taper, I would take half at bedtime and the other half when I wake up in the middle of the night.

(6) Yes, the quantity removed (thrown away) gets bigger each day and the quantity you drink gets smaller.  That creates the taper.

I had lost your answer.

The larger syringe, up to 300 ml will be the one I use to throw away part of the mixture.

Will it contain it all since the quantity grows each day?

Is the mixture to be made right before using it? Refrigerate it?

The difficult part is when needing to travel, I understand what you meant with the microcrystalline fiber.

Can I transport it in a thermos bottle?

Do I keep the mixture in the 1000 ml jar or in a closed glass jar?

Conafetto,

For day 1, the 300 mL syringe will hold the entire amount to throw away.

But on day 2, you will need to use the 300 mL syringe plus 1 mL from the small syringe.

On day 2, you again use the 300 mL syringe but now you need to also throw away another 2 mL.

Each day you throw away more and more.

Perhaps you should also get some 10 mL syringes.

Yes, a thermos is fine.

The 1000 mL can be a jar with or without lid.

Well I never did a liquid taper so I am not sure what people do with the throw away part.

I so much hope I will be too.

I will get tomorrow the needed stuff and with luck further!

Probably I will have more questions here and there.

Will let you know how it goes.

So many thanks I cannot write down, but I deeply feel it.

You did an incredible job.

Happy Easter

Bob, the 400 days to zero is an ideal scenario.

Meaning I have no holds and go daily lower.

From the experience of my friends on the blog, I understood that they were doing it slower, holding a month in between.

That would mean a much longer taper period.

It depends on how I react to it.

Which nobody can predict.

Do you think the 400 days is realistic?

I try to set my mind, so as not to panic if it takes much longer to get rid of this small quantity.

If the pills would have been dissolved in alcohol the rest of the liquid would have been water?

Could I mix the milk with water after the pills have been dissolved, so as not too get so much fat?

I stop now! :)

Yes I think 400 days is realistic in fact an excellent number.

I know many people who have done it much much faster so I think this is a safe number for you. But everyone is different and until you try it you will not know.

Just remember it’s not gonna be easy-you’re doing a taper and your body will react and give you symptoms but I think the symptoms will be mild because you’re going so slow.

Thank you Bob!

I know of symptoms

At moments they were bearable, others extremely difficult.

Grieving is not helping.

Spring is connected to life but it sharpens also the opposite.

The last month and a half the symptoms intensified and made me feel helpless and very scared.

That is why I started to look for different options.

That is why you did such an amazing job, taking so much time to offer this help.

During my taper when the symptoms were unbearable the doctor gave me some Buspar which is not addictive for me and I took for two or three weeks until my symptoms reduced.

I’m not saying you should use it but if things get desperate you might ask your doctor about it-it doesn’t fix anything it just takes the symptoms and makes them milder so you can continue Taper.

This I will consider, thank you Bob.

Only I am such a medicine hater, I would rather suffer than take anything else.

Thats why I am also worried about too much milk, 400 ml would be about  2 glasses?

Bc I don’t take anything against cholesterol, just treating it naturally.

If I would use 3 ml alcohol, what kind of? would that change the math?

You would definitely save calories and cholesterol if you used a little alcohol to dissolve the benzo and then the rest be water.  All the numbers in the taper schedule I gave you will be the same. You would just instead dissolve the pills with a tiny amount of alcohol and then the rest is water to 700 mL.

You should experiment with 80 proof vodka and see how small amount of alcohol is needed to break down your tablet.  Please note the tablet will not disappear in the alcohol but rather it will break down into mush-the larger particles you see left over are just filling materials but the benzo will be fully dissolved.

Thank you Bob , for this precious advice and for not getting tired of all these questions.

My friends on the blog they all write that liquid taper has made their symptoms easier to bear.

How come you never tried it?

Do you have an idea about how many drops, how to measure the vodka amount?

I used to take homeopathic drops against cold or something like that, that is also based on alcohol.

But at that time I was not taking any benzo so I was not afraid of the interaction.

Honestly I think the liquid taper is an excellent way of doing things.

I just wanted the freedom that was offered by repackaging the pills into capsules so I could carry them with me. I also like the idea of making a whole months worth of capsules rather than mixing fluids every night. I travel a lot so the capsules made more sense for me.

As for your other question, do you have a teaspoon in the house. 1 or 2 teaspoons of Vodka should be all you need.  In fact, why don’t you see how small of an amount it takes by using a half a teaspoon at first.

I will try that, Thanks again, and again for answering all these pouring questions.

As I need to travel a lot too, I would have preferred to make the dry doses  to take with me .

And me too I was preparing the doses for three weeks in advance.

Until I got the news about the micro daily taper.

And the scale is not helping at all.

I would want do the same 400 days taper but it would be not as accurate as the liquid.

Still wonder what would be best.

Sorry!!

After all your work.

I understand making the capsules would also be good for you because of your travel.

It is a hard decision to make.

If you watch my videos on my website and if you can buy all the equipment on the equipment list on the website, and you want to try it, let me know.

In the meantime why don’t you start with a liquid taper because that will at least get you closer to zero.
