Xanax Withdrawal...feeling lost and confused

I went to the ENT Dr. he says I have a Sinus infection. So, I'm taking some medicine to clear that up. The last time I had a sinus infection I ended up in the emergency room. I'm not as bad as I was so that was good.

 

I'm going to take the xanax as prescribed. Dr. is very busy and can't see me until the New Year. So, I'm going to take it easy and try anything and everything to be really careful with it.

 

.25mg 4-5hrs as needed

 

I still woke up with my heart pounding through my chest. I had to try to do some breathing exercises. It was so hard to do. I thought for sure

I was having heart attack but of course I wasn't just withdrawl.

Sorry to hear you have an infection, but good that it doesn't appear to be too serious.

 

The heart pounding can be worrying but as you say its just withdrawal.  Keep trying the deep breathing to calm yourself, relaxation and breathing techniques were my saviour through many an anxious time.
