thanks, shelly, for coming back to post this.  i am extremely discouraged right now and just hope that my outcome will be like yours although it sure doesn't feel that way.  it feels like i will forever be this way.  i am trying to hang on.

Hang on buddy. Life is beautiful after healing. I moved on, though always try to come back and encourage those who are still struggling. I know how difficult it is, I have been through it and came out the other side stronger, wiser and full of gratitude for the life I have.
