Shingles Vaccine

Has anyone received the shingles vaccine?  Is it OK to get this?  Would it be OK to get the shingles vaccine and the flu shot at the same time.  I am scheduled for my annual physical next week and was thinking about receiving both.  I sure don't want to upset things.

I did fine with the flu shot, and most people who have posted seemed to tolerate it OK.

 

I don't know about shingles. Anyone?

I developed shingles in month 3. Recovered from it quite well. If I can recover from the full virus, which covered my head, I would think that a small dose of it in a vaccine would be fine.

 

Like Tex, I also had a flu shot and was fine.
