Intrusive thoughts?

Does anyone else get these? I've never had them before benzos, but now I get thoughts in my head I literally cannot stop thinking about, this lasts all day. I hate this symptom the most because I cannot concentrate on anything, it consumes me. I cannot enjoy anything I'm doing because

I'm just dwelling on this thought all day. This is no way to live.

 

Does anyone else have experience with this? And did it go away? I have had this every single day for an entire month now.

So sorry Trig, yes I had terrifying intrusive thoughts.  For me, they lasted quite some time.  But my situation is extreme.  I hope they pass for you soon.  It is not you, nothing wrong with you, it is withdrawal.
