I get to see her tonight and possibly pick her up. She is free, spayed, and shots up to date. And she currently lives in the same apartment complex as my son!  :yippee:

Anna's not happy. If only I can get her out enough so she house trains quickly. Lots of spraying at the moment. But she's got a lovely temperament and Kira is having loads of fun with her.

I don't know if spray is the right word, but she's having little accidents all over the place. Anna thinks that's why they wanted rid of her.

It could just be a nervous reaction with all the excitement? I hope she gets over it, I wouldn't like it either. What is her name going to be?

Dunno if we can keep her. Anna is upset about the peeing and the shedding. She was also extremely stressed yesterday and today cuz

she spoke to our IRS lawyer and didn't hear what we were hoping to. This has been dragging on so long. Thank God I'm off the benzos. Thought I was going to have a panic attack yesterday. Had a lot of trouble getting to sleep with the disruption of our routine due to Riley.

I'm returning her. It's really disappointing. I guess I shoulda just waited until that ideal Yorkie or Silky came along.

 

I hope the owner can find someone better equipped to deal with a problem doggie.

Y'know, my daughter's bf has a dog who, when she first visited, was determined to mark or spray everything she could. He was so embarrassed and we just laughed it off. After a zillion cats, plus one that is the champion barfer of all time, our carpet is not exactly pristine (we buy cat food to match the carpet color because we know what will happen....)

 

Anyway the next time he came with the dog, she was fine. No marking or spraying or any accidents at all.

 

Riley may be nervous. Give her a little time.

I've got a stay of execution of 24 hours. Riley has been wonderful this afternoon, and I took them out and she pee'ed and poo'ed outside! She and Kira play so nicely together.
