Speech and throat issues

Has anyone had speech issues. I have become horse and feel like I have constant flem that I need to keep coughing up. I am in month six of klonopin taper.

How long has this been going on for and what is your current dose?

its something i experienced and have seen listed on sites like benzoinfo. dont remember the whole reasoning though.

Oh yeah! Off 18 months but completely happened to me on and off. I would have a hoarse voice majorly. Extra mucus has also played a large role for me in my throat and nose.

Yes, I had horrible trouble talking, comprehending, formulating words and sentences, just over all a brain to mouth block for the first couple months after my last dose of Xanax. I knew what I wanted to say but I couldn't think of the right words, nothing came out if my mouth, I was a blabbering fool. I still have trouble sometimes on bad days and I'm nearing 6 months benzo free. 

Throat issues, phlegm, food won't go down and sometimes got stuck. I had that issue while using Xanax and all through my taper. This symptom cleared up around my 2nd or 3rd month benzo free.
