Why are some people impervious to benzo withdrawal and others suffer horribly, even after short term use?

Honestly, good doctors should do a DNA test before prescribing medications. It is not that difficult or expensive or at least state that option before randomly throwing meds at someone.

Can you be more specific on what DNA test you took? I would like to test for this before I start any type of taper.

there are dna tests these days for adverse reactions to drugs. many people are predisposed to poor reactions to many of them and you can be tested for that. I dont think that is the case here for most but one doc i saw stated it matter of factly to me. it still seemed like an excuse.

I took them and came off them with no problem a few times. When I went to the Dr this time I told him that. Big mistake. I normally he knew about kindling.
