[Pl...]
Hello Dear Warriors, New gastro Dr wants me to get endoscopy because I’ve had esophagus pain when swallowing for about a month. It’s getting better because I’m avoiding foods I’m sensitive to, but now wondering if it’s another benzo side effect. I’ve been off 35 yrs of K for 20 months and still dealing with a lot of neurological, and food sensitivity problems. TIA Plutonic
[Na...]
I could well be caused by benzo withdrawal, but you probably ought to follow your doctor's advice and have it looked at just to be sure. Some people post benzo withdrawal definitely have issues with swallowing or experience globus pharyngis - a sensation that something is stuck in their throat when nothing is there. But, not everything is attributable to benzo withdrawal so it makes sense to check things out.
[Pl...]
TY. Nathan. Good advice. Although I’m finding many dealing with the same trouble. I have always had allergies and now at almost 20 months since last dose seems I’m allergic to everything, and brain shocks, disequilibrium, etc are over the top!
